Aerol® Rust Remover, Grade 9971 is a hazy white, mild acid-based fluid, primarily designed to simultaneously clean and remove rust, oil, grease, and lime deposits from iron, steel and ferrous metals including stainless steel. Aerol® Rust Remover Grade 9971 can be used in immersion and hand-wipe cleaning applications. Use of Aerol® Rust Remover Grade 9971 for cleaning and rust removal must be followed with a fresh water rinse, drying and anti-rust treatment otherwise re-rusting can occur. If used prior to painting, parts should be painted immediately after the drying step with anti-rust primer.

ApplicationsIt works well for removing rust from iron, steel or other ferrous surfaces such as pipes, railings, auto body, tanks, tools, grills and equipment. It restores and brightens stainless steel surfaces that have been contaminated during fabrication or use. It removes surface rust, water stains, organic contaminants, oil, grease, lime deposits from surface.

DirectionsWear adequate rubber or plastic gloves and safety glasses before handling the material. Use in well ventilated area only. Shake well before using. Remove loose rust and dirt by scrapping or wire brushing, if necessary. Apply on surfaces by hand wipe or dipping at temperature between 10-35°C. Leave on for 5-15 minutes as required and wash off with water. Repeat if any rust remains.
