Product Description:
Damping compounds are tacky, non-drying, highly viscous compounds designed to damp free motion, mostly rotary in nature. These compounds actually create friction and yet make movement more smooth but restricted. They remove 'play' and give a 'hand built' feel to rotating parts. They are used to lubricate electronic switches and plastic assemblies such as mechanical TV tuners and potentiometers, automobile switches and plastic/metal assemblies. They are also used to lubricate microscopes, binoculars, pens, hinges and a wide range of builders hardware.
